ITAB, Europe's leading manufacturer and supplier of checkouts, had a first-time installation of the fully automatic self-checkout system EasyFlow in one of Lidl's stores in the Swedish market. Lidl is now refurbishing their Lerum store and the EasyFlow evaluation will be concluded.
- The evaluation confirms efficiency improvements and increased customer service with EasyFlow. We continue to develop our checkout arena with ITAB in order to deliver the best overall solution for the future, says Mr. Marco Pasch, head of technical procurement, Lidl Group.
ITAB has been supplying checkouts since many years to the Schwarz Group, where Lidl is included.
- We continue to move our positions forward in the existing long-term cooperation we have with Lidl says Ulf Rostedt, CEO, ITAB Shop Concept. The positive evaluation results have also opened for ITAB to market the solution to a wider customer base.
EasyFlow is part of ITABs self-checkout concept, which is designed to increase efficiency, create fast and flexible checkout options, free up staff and allow the store to improve its level of service while at the same time provide increased security.
